Oconee Junior Golf League Enriches Website, Brand and Young Golfers

T

he Oconee Junior Golf League (OJGL), Northeast Georgia’s premier junior golf league for boys and girls aged 5-15, recently enlisted our help on a complete re-brand and new website design. CINTERGY has become familiar with Oconee Junior Golf League over the past few years, and have supported their efforts to build and strengthen their community-based program. Since we have close ties to the tour, we were excited to spring into action with our services and help with their vision for growth.

OJGL came to us in need of a website that would expand their ability to communicate with parents, kids, coaches, community stakeholders, and businesses that sponsor the league. It needed to be engaging and appeal to parents and kids alike. We delivered with a fun, inviting website to get clubs in kids’ hands and ensure the future of golf.

As part of its objective to increase interest and attract potential young players, the new OJGL website was designed to provide information about the League, offer easy online registration, current League news, and information about events and activities.

“The new site is a big step forward for our program”, said Oconee Junior Golf League Executive Director Chris Manzi. “We’re thrilled to see how the new website and re-branding will serve as a catalyst for the ongoing development of junior golf.”

Founded in 2011 the Oconee Junior Golf League operates each Spring and Fall, and is structured in a team format. Players of all skill levels are purposely mixed to allow for even league-wide competition. Through team match play and competition, the League allows young golfers to develop their golf game while having fun and making friends.

In partnership with the Athens Area Junior Golf Tour (AAJGT), the Oconee Junior Golf League allows young golfers to develop their golf game through team match play and competition. League players who desire to compete on an individual level often decide to join the AAJGT. Together, the Oconee Junior Golf League and the AAJGT have become one of the top junior golf development programs in Northeast Georgia. The new website will compliment the Athens Area Junior Golf Tour, and will be cross-linked in the coming days.

The new website is clean, modern and bright, and reflects the youthful energy of the League players. It is built with responsive design, which means it is easily viewed and navigated on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. Whether accessed at home or on the go, every page displays beautifully.
